Course Booking Terms and Conditions

Course Booking Terms and Conditions

We want your booking with us to run as smoothly as possible. In order to provide a great level of service to all of our clients and delegates, we have some terms and conditions that you will need to agree to when booking. These terms and conditions offer a level of protection to both you and our business.

How to Book

Please ensure you have read, understood and accepted the Conditions of Booking before you submit a booking. By placing a booking, you will be deemed to have read, understood and accepted them, therefore entering into a contract.

To make a booking (or to confirm a provisional booking), please use the live booking system on our website or call 03333 444575.

Once this form is received and processed and you receive a booking email from us, your booking is then classed as a confirmed booking, and the terms and conditions below apply. By completing this form, you are entering into a contract with us.

Although your booking will be classed as confirmed on receipt of this form, your space(s) on the course you have selected will be provisional until payment has been received.

Cancellation charges apply should you decide to cancel, whether or not payment has been received. All courses become non-transferable, cancellable or refundable when there are 14 days or less to the course date.

Methods of Payment

Course fees must be paid in advance and should be made when placing a booking or immediately after receiving an invoice.

Payment can be made by cheque payable to Revolution Learning and Development Ltd, by credit/debit card or bank transfer.

All invoices are due for immediate payment and must reach us by the course date.  Late payments may incur a late payment charge of 10%, and you may forfeit your space(s) on the course. Invoices will be sent a minimum of 14 days before the course start date. If payment cannot be made within this timescale, you must contact us in writing to let us know.

Any supplier documentation, purchase orders, or other details required to produce an invoice must be sent to us prior to the course date to allow timely completion of the invoicing process. Where these are sent afterwards, the payment process will not halt, and the invoice will become past due.

Where an invoice becomes substantially late, we reserve the right to pass your account to a debt collection agency. When we do this, the agency will add fees and charges to the invoice, which will become your responsibility to pay.

Where bookings are made from a private email address (i.e. yahoo, Gmail, etc), the booking will need to be secured by providing credit/debit card details to us. A form will be emailed to you shortly after booking.

VAT

All payments quoted are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated, which is applicable at the standard rate.

Cancellation and Course Transfer – In-Person and Online Open Courses

Whether or not course fees have been paid, fees will apply once the booking has been processed should you wish to cancel or change your booking.

Bookings can only be cancelled or changed by managing your booking in My Revolution Learning.

  • 14 days or less to the course date – bookings cannot be cancelled, rescheduled, or delegates removed (100% cancellation/transfer fee)
  • 15 or more days to the course date – bookings can be cancelled, rescheduled or delegates removed without charge

Once an invoice has been raised and sent, this will become payable under all circumstances. To ensure a consistent service is provided to all, this is non-negotiable.

Joining instructions will be sent to the email addresses provided in the delegates section of the booking form 14 days before the course date. If you or your delegates have not received these in that time, you must let us know.

No-shows on the day without any notice will be classed as cancelling on the day, and the invoice produced is still payable.

Cancellation – Free Webinars

Webinars can be cancelled at any time. Attendance is not necessary, and access to a recording will be available for active bookings.

Delegate Submission

It is possible to substitute an alternative delegate on any place booked at no additional cost.

Force Majeure

By booking, you agree that in the event of any circumstances outside of our control (including, but not limited to, pandemics, fire, strikes, loss of utilities, reduction or removal of planned transport services, act of god, civil disorder or any event that causes part or all of the venue to be closed or our ability to deliver our event) may or may not mean that the event will be cancelled with short notice.

Where the venue is open and available, and we can deliver the event as scheduled, the cancellation terms and conditions above will remain in place. Where you cannot attend the event as scheduled, a move to the virtual version of the course running in the same week is possible at no cost where availability permits such a move.

Where the venue becomes unavailable, and a suitable replacement cannot be found, or it is deemed unsafe to run the event as scheduled, the event will be cancelled at no cost to you, and a transfer to the next available date will be arranged.

Course Content and Programme Schedule

Revolution Learning and Development Ltd reserves the right to alter the advertised schedule of courses, which may include the cancellation of a course.

All advertised programmes require a minimum number of bookings to be placed on each course. We may cancel the course if this number is not reached. Where Revolution Learning and Development Ltd cancels a course, individuals with confirmed bookings on that course will be offered alternative dates. If none can be provided, then a full refund will be given. If we need to cancel a course, then 14 days notice will be provided.

Revolution Learning and Development Ltd reserves the right to alter or amend the advertised content of any course without notice to provide a high-quality service continuously or due to circumstances beyond our control.

Revolution Learning and Development reserve the right to change the venue from that originally advertised by providing 14 days’ notice.

Revolution Learning and Development Ltd will not be liable for any losses or expenses, including consequential, arising from any such alterations or amendments to the programme content and schedule, including cancellation.

Acceptable Use of Facilities

In placing a booking, you agree to abide by Revolution Learning and Development Ltd’s Acceptable Use Policy relating to using Revolution Learning and Development Ltd’s facilities. This policy requires the following:

  • None of Revolution Learning and Development Ltd’s facilities may be used to locate, display or transmit any material which is illegal or offensive,
  • No software may be downloaded or installed on any of Revolution Learning and Development Ltd’s computing equipment unless under the explicit direction of the Revolution Learning and Development Ltd Trainer,
  • No data may be imported which has not been checked for viruses and which is not under the explicit direction of the Revolution Learning and Development Ltd Trainer,
  • No food and drink may be brought into the training rooms.

Smoking

Revolution Learning and Development Ltd’s premises are non-smoking, and all delegates must adhere to this policy.

Exclusion

Revolution Learning and Development Ltd reserves the right to refuse access to its facilities and premises where there is reason to believe that a delegate is in breach of these conditions or where a delegate uses threatening, bullying, harassing or disruptive behaviour. Revolution Learning and Development Ltd will not be liable for any losses or expenses (including course fees and consequential damages) incurred by a delegate arising from such an exclusion.

Digital and Online Training Facilities

Revolution Learning and Development Limited will provide access to our online training platforms for delegates to attend an online training course.

Charges for online training are per delegate and not per connection. Where we suspect more than one person is using a connection to our digital services, we reserve the right to terminate and block the connection without a refund.

We will publish the minimum software and hardware requirements for accessing our online and digital services. The delegate/person booking is responsible for checking these before the course and cancelling within the required timescales where these cannot be met.

Revolution Learning and Development will not be responsible for failures to connect due to software or hardware requirements not being met, internet drop-outs or failures, issues with firewalls or being unable to download the required software due to internal security policies.

All of our scheduled open courses are delivered via Zoom.

Free Webinars and Other Online Services Offered Free of Charge

Revolution Learning and Development Limited will from time to time offer some online and digital services free of charge.

Where this is the case we use an email marketing list programme to collect and manage registrations including sending joining instructions. This data will also be added to our main marketing list and used to send further communications after the event where we think the delegate will be interested in the content. Information can be unsubscribed at any time.
